What are the supported email clients and protocols?
  • Server supports SMTP/POP/IMAP with SSL and with out SSL too.

How do I use my Webmail interface?
  • Sign in to the customer's webmail account after creating the mailbox by using the email address as the username and the password that you set above

Configure an email client like outlook & Android phone ?
  • If the customer wishes to access email via an email client, please have the customer connect IMAP and SMTP.

    Port Numbers

    IMAP 993 SSL Enabled
    POP 995 SSL Enabled
    SMTP 465 (or) 8025 SSL Enabled

    Android phone email setup

    1.Add a New Email Account
    2.Open the Gmail app and navigate to the Settings section.
    3.Tap Add account.
    4.Tap Personal (IMAP/POP) and then Next
    5.Enter your full email address and tap Next.
    6.Choose the type of email account you will be using.
    7.POP3 will download the emails from the server and store them on your phone.
    8.IMAP will store the emails on the server and show a cached copy on your phone. IMAP is best for most cases.
    9.Exchange is not supported because it requires a Microsoft Exchange server.
    10.Enter the password for your email address and tap Next.
    11.Incoming Server Settings

    Username: Enter your full email address
    Password: Enter the password for your email account
    Server: mail.hostedemail.com

    Port and Security Type:
    If you're using POP choose either:

    POP 995 SSL Enabled
    IMAP 993 SSL Enabled


    Once the settings are entered, tap Next.

    Outgoing Server Settings

    Once the settings are entered, tap Next.

    Select Require Sign-In.
    Username: Enter your full email address
    Password: Enter the password for your email account
    Server: mail.hostedemail.com
    For SMTP Port and Security Type, choose:
    SMTP 465 (or) 8025 SSL Enabled
